AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: 2026 PBIS Fundraising Beneficiary
The Placentia Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite Expressions of Interest from local charitable organizations, non-profit organizations, and schools to become the 2026 Placentia Bay Industrial Showcase (PBIS) Fundraising Beneficiary.
PBIS 2026 will take place on September 16 and 17, 2026, at the Port of Argentia Wellness Centre (formerly Unity PARC) in Placentia.
Each year, the PBIS Conference welcomes delegates, exhibitors, speakers, and industry leaders from across the province and beyond. A highlight of the conference is the PBIS Networking Reception, an evening that brings people together to build relationships, exchange ideas, and celebrate our region. More importantly, it is an opportunity to give back. Over the years, PBIS has proudly supported local charities, non-profit organizations, and schools through its annual fundraising initiative.
This year, we are inviting organizations to tell us their story.
We encourage local charities, non-profit organizations, and schools to submit a proposal (maximum 500 words) describing:
- Who you are and the work your organization does;
- How the funds raised would benefit your organization or community; and
- Why your organization should be selected as the 2026 PBIS Fundraising Beneficiary.
Please submit your proposal by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, by email to pbis@placentiachamber.ca.
The selected organization will be announced during the conference and will be invited to attend the Charity Fundraiser Networking Social on Wednesday, September 16. The successful organization will participate in an official presentation and photo opportunity.
